I've always imagined paradise as something like a library. -- Geraldine Brooks in March.
Our garden is full of leaves too. Answering your question on the previous post personally I prefer to have a mixed blog - photos, memes, book reviews etc etc. But that's just me. If you have a separate photo blog I'd look at that too.I like a white background - easier on my eyes.
Well done! I love what you did here...
Great shot. Glad I didn't have to do all that raking!
Thanks Margaret - I'm going back and forth with the dark background. We're still not done with leaves! After the first raking I realized the trees had only dropped 1/3 of them. Oh well, it's good exercise and gets us out and talking to all the passersby.
I love the composition of this shot. Very autumnal. I love it.
Thanks Serena! Fall offers so many wonderful photo ops!
Love the image and almost make me wish it was autumn here still. But it has felt more and more like winter the past days, we've had snow and it is cold and all leaves are gone or turned into a brownish mush on the ground. I also love the idea of a wordless Wednesday. I may take up that thing in 2009.
Mmmmmm...love leaves.Happy Wednesday! :)
That is really a lot of leaves! And you were saying it's only 1/3 of the leaves? What do you plan to do with all that?Happy Thanksgiving.
Compost, compost, compost. And mulch mulch mulch. Leaves are the best!
