Sigh...for the first time in 8 years I woke up with a smile in my heart...a huge cloud has lifted. Now perhaps we can all begin recovery from PTSD. The enormity of what this means to my African American husband and people of color in this country and around the world is yet to be measured.
Congratulations!! Another history was made! I am an Obama fan!
Mine is up. Hope you can drop by.

Happy WW!
Whee! Whee! I am SO happy!
Though this post has some weeks on it by now, I thought I'd pop by your blog once again and check out more of your posts. As I already said, in Denmark, a large paper made a poll about who would you vote for if you could vote in the US pres. election. 85% of the Danes said they'd vote for Obama. That is surprising as we have a prime minister who has been in power as long time as Bush and that he is best pals with Bush AND he has managed to win three prime minister elections with more than 50 % of the votes. How can 85% want Obama. Hmmmm. I desperately hope we have an election soon in Denmark as well. And I really hope that we will see a better world now. Not just for African Americans but for all people. I am not sure Obama can end wars. But I am sure he can change the outlook of USA making other nations care more about your wonderful country over there. I used to live in Washington DC and has been back to USA many times since then. A belated congrats with your new pres!!! Woohooo. It was a big day for sure.
