I wish I lived in California. I wish I could vote on this. I wish this I could do a thousand times more for this than I actually can. I'll be watching the news on Election Day, waiting to see if we rise victorious.

It's sad - my husband says you only have to pass a proposition once, you have to defend yourself against one over and over...

I hope that the election brings good results as well! On a slightly different note, will you continue to blog after you retire?

Amanda, Oregon passed a similar amendment 4 years ago, it was devastating to us. I wish just one prominent politician would get the courage to stand up for gay marriage.

beastmomma -- oh of course, you'll probably hear even more from me after I retire (next week!!!!) I'm addicted! I've been thinking of changing the name of the blog, but don't know what yet. Also, I'll be getting a fancy new camera soon, so will be taking lots more photos. yah!

Oh, I don't know if you need to change the title of your blog, because technically, you'll be retired, so it sort of makes sense. Sorry to hear about the law in Oregon. It's one of those states that I seem to think of as more liberal than others. Texas will be one of the very last to break, I know. I have a friend named Terry who lives in Arizona and they are apparently fighting a similar ban this year. They voted it down once before, but are having to do it again this year. It makes me feel so impotent not being able to help out more.
