I Should Be Reading - Miz B - hosts this weekly event. We throw out a couple of sentences from our current read to entice you to read the book!
Some of Brigham's wives developed a system of private communication within the Lion House. Two sister wives, or sometimes more, would circulate a copy of the Book of Mormon, into which they would crosshatch a private conversation about topics such as their children, the other wives, and domestic business like cooking, keeping house, and social gossip heard at Brigham's store.

I'm reading the book now too as part of the tour and I'm really enjoying it! I'm about halfway through (my date is the 30th).
Lisa -- I just started last night and I'm really liking it too. I'll have to knuckle down this weekend since it's almost 500 pages!
Ooh, I just got this book recently and I can't wait to read it! I'm looking forward to reading others' reviews too, during David's blog tour.
I am so excited about this book. I just got it in the mail today, but I know I probably have a few weeks before I can get to it in good conscience. We'll see.It might have to go to the head of the line. :-)
