The yard is beginning to green up - apple and plum trees create wonderful shade and a privacy screen from now until autumn. The lawn is greening up too, damn! I mean, thank you.*
Crimson clover is getting ready to bloom
Inside the white flowers are little green fruits that will soon be luscious strawberries.
I love this time of year. Everything is so ... pregnant.
*I borrowed this phrase (damn! I mean thank you) from a brilliant artist, Melanie Weidner. Check out her amazing art on her website.

Pretty, pretty, pretty!! We're not quite that green here in Minnesota yet, but it's trying hard.
Have a great day!

I hear ya about the yard. I love green grass, but it grows so darn quick! And I've never had much luck with strawberries. The birds always get them first. :(
Nice close-up on the strawberries! I have some of those too, and spent my weekend liberating them from a bunch of weeds. Recent rain seems to have caused everything, including weeds, to multiply!
I love when you share your pictures. It helps keep me motivated to do my own gardening when we have a house instead of a condo someday.
