Lovely capture. Im glad you saw the tag, I was going to write a comment but it didn't feel appropriate to do it on your Obama post.
Aww that is so pretty. happy ww.
Beautiful! Do you live nearby?
What a beautiful, majestic sight. The mountain almost looks as if it's floating above the horizon.
Great catch! I lived in the Pacific NW in the 1970s. I miss it.
You're right... I should move to Oregon. Actually, Oregon and Washington are on my list of places I'd like to live. I nearly moved to Seattle when I was in my 20's and often wonder what my life would have been like if I had...
Thank you all -- Margaret, yes I took the photo from Mt. Tabor which is just a mile from where I live; Mt. Hood is about 90 miles to the east. It was a glorious clear day, sunny, very windy and COLD! But I knew it would make for some good mountain shots.
Aww, now I'm all nostalgic. When I was a kid, we lived in Oregon and I have memories of seeing Mt Hood way off in the distance.
What a beautiful picture! I fell in love with Mt. Hood when I went to Oregon seven years ago; it's so pretty.
